Since then, the newlyweds have posted many highlights from their nuptials on social media. “Our entire wedding was shared with the world, but this moment didn’t make it to TV. 🤍 Before we stepped into our marriage, surrounded by the people we love most, we stopped and prayed,” Dupree, 24, wrote on Instagram alongside a clip of the group prayer. “Of all the beautiful, colorful, crazy moments from our wedding day, this was one of the most important to us. A reminder that before anything else, we wanted God at the center of our marriage. 💒🙏🏼.” She added, “A little piece of our wedding you didn’t get to see on TV. 🤍.”

Dooley opened up about the experience in his own post on Instagram.

“This moment didn’t make it on the TV show, but for us, it was the most important moment of our entire wedding. 🤍,” the real estate professional wrote. “Of all the moments from that day, this is the one that means the most to us.”

He continued, “Standing at the altar as husband and wife for the first time, surrounded by the people who have loved us, supported us, and walked alongside us, and having them place their hands on us and pray over our marriage is something we will never forget.”

In that moment, it was as if “everything else disappeared,” Dooley said.“The cameras, the celebration, the people watching — none of it mattered. It was just us, the people we love, and God,” he wrote. “We knew that before we took our first steps into this new life together, we wanted to give our marriage to Him. To ask for His protection, His guidance, His grace, and His hand over whatever this life brings us.”

He explained that it was important to him and his wife that they put “God at the center” of their marriage, and there was no better way to do so than “beginning [their] marriage surrounded in prayer.”

“The Blessing” by Kari Jobe Carnes and Cody Carnes played in the background of both posts.

Exclusively speaking to PEOPLE at the time of their wedding, Dupree called the celebration a “fairy tale” while Dooley raved that it was a “surreal” experience.

“What we envisioned for our wedding was something very colorful, vibrant, and fun. We want to throw the best party of our lives,” Dupree said. “What was most important to us was having as many people there as possible who love and support us.”

Less than two weeks later, Dupree gushed that “it feels amazing” to be married to Dooley, whom she started dating in November 2022 after they connected on a dating app. She told PEOPLE, “It just feels like we’re whole now and everything’s complete.”

She noted at the time that being married hasn’t significantly shifted their relationship “just because the relationship has been so tight for a really, really long time.”
