Police found Gilson, 43, and Duffey, 48, dead from a murder-suicide in the Owasso home on July 23

Influencer Sara Gilson was heard “screaming and crying” by a 911 dispatcher before police found her and estranged husband Jeremiah “Shawn” Duffey’s bodies in her Oklahoma home.

Dispatch audio obtained by PEOPLE reveals that at 11:15 p.m. local time on Thursday, July 23, emergency dispatchers discussed a call for service at Gilson’s home in Owasso.

“I’m trying to reach him back, but I could hear a female in the background screaming and crying. Some sort of loud bang in the background,” a 911 dispatcher can be heard telling first responders on the audio recording, referring to the caller who reported the eventual murder-suicide.

Moments later, a dispatcher mentioned a “male that we were looking for a few weeks ago after he got caught kissing a juvenile” and referred to “a gun.”

By around 11:18 p.m., authorities communicated to dispatchers that they had arrived at the home.

Gilson, 43, and Duffey, 48, were found dead with gunshot wounds. A child who lived at the home made the 911 call.

Gilson was shot by Duffey, who then fatally shot himself, authorities said, per KTUL. Gilson and Duffey were later identified as the victims by a family member.

PEOPLE has reached out to the Owasso Police Department for comment.

Gilson had previously publicly accused Duffey of being a “pedophile.”

In a TikTok video shared on July 11, Gilson took part in an ongoing trend in which users pretend to sit down for an interview with Netflix for a documentary. She wrote, “Preparing for when Netflix drops a documentary about my soon to be ex husband who I just found out is a pedophile.”

“I wish I was joking,” she captioned the video.

On June 10, a woman filed a protective order against Duffey on behalf of her minor daughter — a 15-year-old girl who played on the youth basketball team he coached — according to court records viewed by PEOPLE.

The girl’s mother claimed that Duffey allegedly kissed and touched her and was caught by another coach, per The Oklahoman. The girl told her mother that Duffey engaged in additional inappropriate behavior, including sending her messages, inviting her to his hotel room during a tournament trip and offering her money “to keep her quiet.”

Gilson had also previously filed emergency protective orders of her own against Duffey.

In 2021, she filed two protective orders against him, court records show. These earlier filings were dismissed because Gilson did not appear at the hearing, per The Oklahoman.
