Jordyn Woods paid attention to every detail for her recent wedding to Karl-Anthony Towns.
In addition to three custom wedding gowns, the reality star and designer, 28, made sure even her pre-wedding look included a personal touch. A video shared to TikTok on Wednesday, Aug. 19 shows the bride and her sister Jodie Woods getting ready for the big day wearing satin robes, with Woods in a white version and Jodie in black.
While Jodie’s robe features a monogram with her initials, “JW,” Woods’ has her married initials, JET.
The robes come from Australian intimates brand Kat the Label. Woods’ full look consisted of the Madeline Robe and matching Olivia Pant and Slip set.
In a video for Vogue, Woods shared a behind-the-scenes look at three wedding dresses designed by Danielle Frankel. For her final fitting at Frankel’s Los Angeles showroom, Woods was joined by her mother, Elizabeth, and sister, Jodie.
The first dress, which Woods wore for her wedding ceremony, was a strapless silk gown with a gathered skirt and subtle lace details, including a delicate lace neck scarf.
“The design intention was there from the beginning and the get-go,” Frankel said, before Woods added, “She was adamant about that being smooth in the stomach area and getting the ruching perfect. And you have to let the artist be the artist.”
Woods’ second dress for her wedding reception was a strapless lace design that she wore with a lace shrug. Frankel revealed that the dress’ gathered skirt was a happy accident.
“I asked Jordyn to just lift one side so I could see what was going on under the dress,” said the designer. “And as she was holding it here, the gown draped so beautifully. I said, ‘Hold it there.’ We pinned it in place, and that’s literally what happened.”
