Britain’s Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank welcomed their third child earlier this month.

Britain’s Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank have announced that their third child is named Adelaide Elizabeth Annina Brooksbank.

The couple made the announcement in a post on Instagram on Monday.

“2 weeks ago today we welcomed our girl to the world. And since then we’ve had the most special, cosy and love-filled time,” reads the post.

“Named after three people we love and admire past and present, including her Great-Grandmother who we hold close in our hearts,” it continues. “Her name is part of English and Portuguese history, two places we love and call home.”

Adelaide is the couple’s third child, joining brothers August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, born in February 2021, and Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, who arrived in May 2023.

“Augie and Ernie are already the best big brothers,” adds Monday’s post.

Adelaide was born on August 3 at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal, weighing six pounds nine ounces, according to a post from the official Royal Family account on X on August 4.

“Their Majesties The King and Queen and other members of The Royal Family were delighted to be informed of the news,” reads the post.

Eugenie and Brooksbank married at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle in October 2018, just months after the princess’ cousin Harry, Duke of Sussex tied the knot with Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.

Eugenie, who is twelfth in line to the British throne, is the second daughter of King Charles III’s disgraced younger brother, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. The baby is his fifth grandchild with his former wife Sarah Ferguson.

The King is the new baby’s great uncle.
