An out-of-this-world Northern California home has just hit the market.

The rotating home affectionately known to Novato, Calif., residents as the “spaceship house” is for sale for the first time through real estate firm Marcus & Millichap. It’s part of a $3.3 million package deal along with six other homes currently rented by tenants, according to the official listing, which is held by Angelo Baglieri and Henry Wiese of Marcus & Millichap.

“Everyone knows this property, they have been driving past it since they were little. Now they have a chance to buy it,” Baglieri tells PEOPLE. “It is an irreplaceable combination of land, income, and history waiting for a new owner.”

According to the listing, the offer features “seven detached homes” spread out across nearly 2.3 acres, including the rotating Round House and the iconic Potato Chip House.

Locals have long considered the spaceship house, also called the Round House, a local landmark visible from Highway 101, according to ABC affiliate KGO. The three-bedroom, two-bathroom home was built in 1963 by Sam Harkleroad, and is currently owned by his family, with his grandson Harold Pozzi managing the property. The home notably rotates up to 320º for “maximum sunlight” year-round, according to the outlet.

The property offers buyers “the ability to preserve a unique piece of local history while exploring the potential to add additional homes or subdivide the land, subject to independent investigation and approval by the city,” per the listing.

Jessi Adams, the current tenant renting the home, called it “super quirky” in an interview with KGO.

“Where else are you going to live in a house that’s round?” Adams added. “Usually in the winter, I face a certain direction. It heats the house. In summer, I can change the view.”

“It’s different,” Pozzi said of the home his grandfather built, per KGO. “It’s a challenge. He loved a challenge.”

Pozzi said that he is struggling with upkeep of the string of unique homes, and decided to sell them to a new buyer. “At this age, it’s hard. I’m at the age where it’s too much,” he told the outlet.
