Travis Kelce wants you to meet his new teammate.

The Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end, 36, is the star of Tommy Hilfiger’s Fall 2026 campaign. In the stylish video accompanying the announcement, filmed at New York City’s Plaza Hotel, Kelce meets several fashionable friends, including Gigi Hadid, Frances Tiafoe, and Carmelo Anthony, while strutting through the iconic location, but one costar stands out: a fluffy white dog.

PEOPLE has confirmed that the canine posing alongside Kelce is the athlete’s own pet, marking the first time the pup has appeared publicly alongside her famous owner. According to Forbes, the canine is a female Samoyed. The American Kennel Club describes the breed as “smart, social, mischievous dogs who demand love and attention.”

“Tommy brought us into his world at The Plaza for this, and it doesn’t get more classic New York than that,” said Travis Kelce in a statement about the campaign, which features Ace Frehley’s famous cover of “New York Groove.” “There’s a magic to this city, and I love that you never know who or what’s around the corner. We had a blast tapping into that unique energy with a cast who truly embody the vibes that make this city so special.”

In the video, Kelce stops in one of the Plaza Hotel’s rooms to drop his bags and is greeted by his pooch, who looks up at Kelce before going to cuddle alongside him on the couch.

Fans first speculated that Kelce got a dog earlier in 2026, ahead of his wedding to Taylor Swift, when footage shared to social media appeared to show a fluffy white dog getting out of one of Swift’s vehicles.

Rumors intensified in the days after the couple’s wedding on July 12, when Kelce was photographed traveling with a furry dog that looked similar to the pooch spotted in early 2026.

The official introduction of this new canine brings Kelce and Swift’s pet count up to four. Swift, 36, is a devoted owner of her three cats, Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button.

Swift has also been helping her sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce, convince Travis’ brother, Jason Kelce, to adopt a cat for their family, which includes the couple’s daughters Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 5, Bennett, 3, and Finn, 17 months.

“I grew up with cats,” Kylie explained to her guest, Leslie Mann, on the Aug. 20 episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast. “So I grew up in a cat-dog house, like, both at all times. And now our kids have influences in their life. Aunt Taylor is a big one where they get to be around cats.”
