Weekly Horoscope: August 30-September 9: Destiny Takes Hold

This week, we are experiencing the recent eclipses, and “destiny” is running through our lives.

October and November will be major periods where we return to face the past: resurrecting it or finding closure. However, like any storm we can see on Earth, there is always a period where the storm boils and rolls in, then we face it, and then there is an aftermath.You can relate this same cosmic story to any storm on Earth — or the ones we experience in life. Using our own lives as an example, and love specifically, there is always the spark of falling in love, followed by the relationship, and for the ones that do not work out, mourning and letting go. Beginning Aug. 31, we enter a “vortex of the past” as we begin a very long period of returning to the past — one that truly echoes out until nearly the middle of June 2027. I will dive further into details about those specifics in future horoscopes, but for now, think of us as feeling the tremors of “the vortex of the past” advancing toward us.

Powerful cosmic alignments are also happening in our heavens above, even amid other forces, that we can use to empower ourselves personally and professionally for the long term. The energy surrounding this week is mighty — as two titans in the stars align: Jupiter, King of the ancient Gods, and Saturn, the Timekeeper of fate and karma. As they reach across the sky to lock hands, the plans we launch now have staying power. Also, the full storm of the past doesn’t reach us until the onset of October, so I encourage you to harness the cosmic vibrations toward your goals now, because each day we march closer to October, things will slow down.

As for cosmic weather this week, we will still feel the emotional effects of last week’s lunar eclipse, but as we enter September, we will sense tension and may face obstacles and roadblocks — especially around Sept. 1.
