50 Cent isn’t happy about the latest food recall.

After Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream issued a voluntary recall over Outshine popsicles on Monday, Aug. 16, the rapper decided to post an Instagram Reel sharing his frustrations.

In the footage, 50 Cent (whose real name is Curtis Jackson) can be seen throwing boxes of what appear to be grape and strawberry Outshine popsicles in the trash.

The “Candy Shop” hitmaker, 51, appeared annoyed about having to throw out his snacks, and then reminded his followers to discard their popsicles if they purchased any of the five flavors that were recalled.

“OK, now, if you eat these, they got a recall because there might be f---in’ glass in them, so you gotta throw them out,” said 50 Cent. “Can’t even eat pops no more. What the f---?”

He then captioned the post, “Can’t eat lettuce can’t eat popsicles they recalled 5 flavors because glass may be in them. Just throw the s--- out !”

He also shared a meme of the U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Robert F. Kennedy Jr. smiling with a list of the flavors that were recalled by the company: Watermelon, Strawberry, Grape, Tangerine and Black Cherry.

In an Aug. 16 release, Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream announced that it was voluntarily recalling several Outshine Fruit Bars “due to possible foreign material contamination with glass.”

The affected items were certain lots of the 6-count, 2.5-oz. Fruit Bars in the flavors Strawberry, Watermelon, Grape, Tangerine and Black Cherry.

The products recalled contained UPC codes 041548610047, 041548413624, 041548244044, 041548612041 and 041548000121. However, they have varying batch codes on the bottom of the packaging and certain expiration dates ranging from June 30, 2027 to Nov. 30, 2027.

The lots were distributed to retailers nationwide, according to the announcement.

In the release, Dreyer’s said that “no illnesses or injuries have been reported to date,” adding that those concerned about an injury should contact a healthcare provider.

The brand encouraged consumers with the items in question to discard or return them to the place of purchase for a refund.

In the release, the company added that “no other Outshine products or varieties are impacted.”

“The safety, quality, and integrity of our products remain our highest priority,” they said. “We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this action may cause our consumers and retail customers.”

The company added, “We remain committed to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality and to earning the trust of our consumers and customers every day.”

At the time, Dreyer’s did not immediately reply to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

The popsicle recall follows the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) recently upgrading another recall involving 1.6 million cartons of eggs due to potential Salmonella contamination to Class I, the highest risk level, on Aug. 12.

According to the FDA website, “There is a reasonable probability that the use of or exposure to a violative product will cause serious adverse health consequences or death.”

The FDA had reported that 98 people were infected with an outbreak strain of Salmonella across 17 states on July 24 prior to the update.
