Hannah McFarland Says She’d ‘Rather Chew My Foot Off’ Than Date Duet Partner Riley Green

Hannah McFarland is setting the record straight: there’s nothing romantic going on between herself and Riley Green.

On Wednesday, Aug. 19, McFarland shared a video on TikTok where she’s performing on stage alongside Green, 37, and he playfully nearly trips her.

“If I ever trip on stage you can just assume it’s his fault,” McFarland, 28, wrote over the video.

In the caption section, she wrote, “He’s gonna catch these hands in front of 25000 people one of these days.”

Shortly after she posted the video, fans started flooding the comments with dating speculation — and McFarland responded to one to clear the air.

“Are you all seeing each other?” a social media user commented. McFarland wrote back, “I’d rather chew my foot off.”

Another fan wrote, “My momma always told me the boys that pick on me just have a crush.”

However, other fans came to her defense and pointed out their sibling-like dynamic.

“Some people don’t recognize a healthy friendship and always just assume dating is involved,” a fan wrote.

Another added, “As someone who had guy best friends growing up, they will gladly embarrass you every way possible.”

McFarland is currently on the road with Green as an opening act for his Cowboy as It Gets Tour.

They recently teamed up for “Go Again,” which dropped on July 3 as the third single from Green’s upcoming album That’s Just Me. They also previously sang together on “I Just Need You.”

In an interview with Smooth Country in March, the “Missin’ Me” singer opened up about her dynamic with Green.

“It’s like getting to work with your brother. We are genuinely so close and so everything we do is fun,” she said.
