Kylie Kelce Refers to Taylor Swift as ‘Aunt Taylor’ for the First Time Since Her and Travis Kelce’s Wedding

Kylie Kelce dropped a sweet new title for Taylor Swift on her ‘Not Gonna Lie’ podcast, referring to the pop star as “Aunt Taylor.” The mother of four said that Swift has been an asset in helping the family convince her husband, Jason Kelce, to get a cat.

Kylie Kelce dropped an adorable new title for her sister-in-law, Taylor Swift, on the Thursday, Aug. 20 episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast.

While discussing her long-documented desire to get a family pet cat despite her husband Jason Kelce‘s wishes, the mother of four noted that she has several family members on her side.

“I grew up with cats,” Kylie explained to her guest, Leslie Mann. “So I grew up in a cat-dog house, like, both at all times. And now our kids have influences in their life. Aunt Taylor is a big one where they get to be around cats.”

Swift is famously a cat mom to pets Olivia Benson, Meredith Grey and Benjamin Button.

Kylie, who is mom to daughters Wyatt, 6, Elliotte, 5, Bennett, 3, and Finn, 1, attended Swift’s star-studded Madison Square Garden wedding to her brother-in-law Travis Kelce last month. Kylie and Jason’s daughters served as the couple’s flower girls for the big day.

Kylie gave some insight into the mood at the grand event during a previous podcast episode, saying of her husband, Jason, “He cried at his brother’s wedding for many reasons. It was touching. It was very loving to see all of the things that were happening, but take this into consideration — because no one’s thinking about this — think about getting to watch your four daughters be flower girls. Okay? That’s all the information you get.”

At the time, she added, “It was emotional, and he was not the only adult crying in our family. Guilty. Mmkay? Come on. Be for real.”

Shortly after the A-list couple got engaged in August 2025, Kylie appeared on Good Morning America and shared her daughters’ reactions to the big news.

“The girls are thrilled. They’re so excited they’re getting another aunt. And we could not be more excited for them and what the future holds. We love, love, and we love Taylor and Trav,” she gushed.

The Philadelphia native has been open in the past about her daughters’ love for their “Uncle Trav,” previously calling him the “King of the Funcles.”

Kylie previously spoke with PEOPLE in February 2023 and praised Travis as “the absolute best uncle you can imagine,” adding, “Jason said in an interview that he thinks [the girls] might like him more than they like Jason.”

“I tell everybody, he comes to our house to visit, and the poor guy doesn’t sit on the couch because our daughters will be like, ‘No, no, you sit on the floor. We’re gonna do a puzzle. We’re gonna build blocks. We’re gonna do this, we’re gonna do that,’” she said at the time.
