Wheel of Fortune viewers were left stunned after a contestant on a past episode guessed the puzzle with just one letter on the board.

The November 2010 moment resurfaced after the game show posted a clip on its official Instagram page, writing in the caption: “A solve so good people will claim this is AI 🤣”.

In the clip, contestant Caitlin Burke asks, “Could I try to solve?” even as just one letter (an “l”) and one apostrophe are seen on the board.

Then-host Pat Sajak takes a moment — seemingly surprised — before saying, “okay.”

She then goes on to guess correctly: “I’ve got a good feeling about this.”

“That’s right,” Sajak responds, before approaching the contestant, who asks, “What’d I win? What’d I win?”

Speaking to NPR shortly after the moment first went viral, Burke shared that she was a Wheel of Fortune junkie, and was able to solve the puzzle so easily because she broke the word into “chunks,” and knew that (due to the apostrophe) the first word had to be either “I’ve” or “I’ll.”

Burke walked away with more than $50,000 in cash and prizes that day.

Sajak, 79, left the show in 2024, addressing the audience with a heartfelt speech that June, in which he said, “Well, the time has come to say goodbye. I have a few thanks and acknowledgements before I go. And I want to start with all of you watching out there.”

“It’s been an incredible privilege to be invited into millions of homes night after night, year after year, decade after decade,” the TV veteran added. “And I’ve always felt that the privilege came with a responsibility to keep this daily half hour a safe place for family fun. No social issues, no politics, nothing embarrassing, I hope. Just a game.”

Sajak hosted the beloved game show for 41 seasons, before handing the reins to Ryan Seacrest, who now serves as host.
