Yungblud isn’t letting a broken leg affect his tour.
After opening up earlier this week about breaking his leg in a recent dirt bike accident, the English rock star, 29, performed a show at Portugal’s Vilar de Mouros Festival on Tuesday, Aug. 18 while in a wheelchair and even surfed the crowd.
“Good way to break my leg,” wrote the Idols musician on Instagram alongside a photo of himself posing with a cane and a cast on his leg alongside women dressed as nurses.
Other photos in Yungblud’s post saw him crowd surfing in a wheelchair, standing up to sing on stage and posing backstage.
He then took to Instagram Stories and shared videos of himself discussing how tour life is a bit different since breaking his leg.
“I ain’t allowed to fly, so it means I’ve had to bus my way from the U.K. to Portugal, and now I’m on my way from Portugal to f---ing Belgium for a gig on Friday night, which means I can’t stop or I won’t make the show,” Yungblud told fans. “So, I can’t stay in hotels, but hygiene is very important, so I just pulled up at a f---ing truck stop in France, and let’s see how this goes.”

Yungblud documented his truck stop shower and informed fans that he had to use an Ozzy Osbourne t-shirt to dry himself off due to a lack of towels.
The “Zombie” singer broke his leg at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in South Dakota and spoke about the injury while performing on stage at the event on Aug. 9. “I’m not gonna be able to hop around and f---ing shake my ass like I normally do,” he told the crowd, grabbing a bottle of Jack Daniel’s whiskey and taking a sip. “However, I’m gonna keep drinking this Jack.”

In an Instagram post shared on Aug. 16, Yungblud wrote, “Leg f---ed. Still giggin. Still standin (sort of). Portugal and Belgium I’m comin and it’s gonna be f---ing mad. See you next week. Let’s ride.”
This isn’t the first time Yungblud’s performed with an injury. In 2018, he played Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas in a wheelchair after fracturing his ankle the night before.
His next performance will take place at the Pukkelpop Festival in Belgium on Friday, Aug. 21.
